i'm planning a Sailor Moon half sleeve (i already have the Eternal Sailor Moon brooch as a chest piece) but i dont want it to be obviously Sailor Moon (ie, no Sailor Scouts on it), i was just wondering...
does anyone have any awesome sites that have images from the manga/anime?
i know i'm already getting the locket and Mamoru's pocket watch in there somewhere, so i guess also if anyone has any stellar ideas for my sleeve that would be totally appreciated as well

Hey all! We have been slowly collecting the Sailor moon comics and only need 11 more soon so we decided that we'd get a cute box and move our comics into it. Thus we went adventuring to Wal-Mart and picked up a plain white photobox. My intention was to put a manga image on it but I decided just to customize it with a simple image.
Anyway, I figured I would post it just to see if anyone else would be interested in one. I would charge probably the price of the photo box ($3.48 at our wal-mart for the white one or $5.00 at Michael's for a different color) plus shipping (I would probably buy some boxes at Wal-Mart and send it USPS so it wouldn't get out of shape or broken... probably $5.00) and then maybe $5-15 depending on the complexity of the design you wanted.
I have more possibilities (i.e. using more Sharpie colors) for it too. They could be for manga or just books (there's also a wider box for $5.46) or whatevr. I could make them within a week and send them out. Just wanted to see if there was interest. Here's my first one:

Has anyone ever looked at the Sailor Moon category on imgDump? (Note: I've been told some ads there are not work-safe.) There are a ton of high-res (higher than what we're used to, anyway) scans and I've never seen many of them before.
Just thought it was worth sharing. It's got your typical scans that probably came from Manga Style and whatnot, but it looks like there are some rarer pictures in there too. Makes me wish I had Photoshop on my Mac so I could make some icons out of these!

After what's felt like months.. and oooh i mean months.. I -just- made it to the start of Sailor Stars. So great to see a new opening! Makes me wonder, how many of you were surprised to go through that many seasons with the same opening music then see something brand new?
I remember i learned the sailor stars opening in japanese before learning the first opening. Crazy huh? Well actually, it was one of the first japanese theme songs i ever learned being that young. I'd say.. eleven or twelve?
I've been re-watching Sailor Moon in japanese since about last year around my birthday [December 23rd.] Why? Well i needed something to do to get my mind off of pregnancy. . and wouldn't you of guessed; i had my baby as a premie juuust as i'm nearing the end of sailor moon.
So since coming home from the hospital, i'm drawing the series to a close now; and hoping nothing but the best for my son. [Which for the record, i'm glad it's a boy and not a girl. The father already said he'd have a huuuuge soft spot if i would of had a girl.. and pffft on that >( ]
Well, i just felt like sharing photo's with all of you with what probably is the next maybe 2% of males who wont be ashamed to admit they like sailor moon and watched the series at some point within their life.
'Cause if my baby is anything like me, he'll become obsessed with all soooorts of anime.

Well I just joined this lovely community and I can't help but wonder if anyone shares the love for one of my favorite, yet severly ignored ships. Rei/Makoto.
I first got the idea from reading the manga short, Casablanca Memory. It was nice seeing them interact one on one. (I looked everywhere from scans from Casablanca Memory but I came up short, sorry to all who haven;t read it!)and in PGSM when Mako rescues Rei from father (diner cart lol!) made me love the ship even more!.
What makes me saddest is the lack of fanart, not much of a fic reader so I pretty much live on art.
I did find this cute peice though <3
Reis lack of nose is alittle odd.

Hi, after seeing all the lovely manga colourings I had another idea for fun with Sailor Moon manga pages. Maybe even a contest.
The basic premise is to take a manga scan, but change some of the text in the speech bubbles so that we get a few laughs. I got the idea from the "Fushigi Akugi" joke strips in Fushigi Yuugi, if anyone's seen those.
I've made one as an example - I got the picture from the manga scans at http://www.onemanga.com. Sorry my font isn't so good - I'm using MS Paint.

I'm new to the community, but I was interested in selling some of my Sailor Moon items...

I have all of the common cards, all of the uncommon cards, and I am missing ONE from the rare cards (this would be easy to find on ebay or something!) and I also have about 5 foils. --these are all in AMAZING condition--
